The central theme of anna.laclaque’s art is the representation of the diversity of the self. Motivation is the perpetual attempt to get hold of oneself by making the most diverse emotional states visible and audible. This requires working with her own body and voice, the artist herself is the medium and projection surface for the viewer. In this way, videos are created from performances, which are further processed for the spatial installations or serve as the basis for paintings. The transmedia work is the essential basis for anna.laclaque’s installations. She transfers the media of singing, performance, video and painting into one another and connects them in the context of the space. These medial changes enable a maximum variety of views of the multiple I.

TRANSMEDIALER ANSATZ.

Das zentrale Thema der Kunst von anna.laclaque ist die Darstellung der Vielfältigkeit des Ichs. Motivation ist der perpetuierte Versuch, der eigenen Person habhaft zu werden durch Sicht- und Hörbarmachung unterschiedlichster emotionaler Zustände. Das bedingt die Arbeit mit dem eigenen Körper und der eigenen Stimme, die Künstlerin selbst ist Medium und Projektionsfläche für den Betrachter. So entstehen aus Performances Videos, die für die Raum-Installationen weiterbearbeitet werden oder als Grundlage für Malereien dienen. Die transmediale Arbeit ist die wesentliche Grundlage für anna.laclaque’s Installationen. Die Medien Gesang, Performance, Video und Malerei führt sie ineinander über und verbindet sie im Kontext des Raumes miteinander. Diese medialen Wandlungen ermöglichen eine maximale Vielfalt an Blicken auf das multiple Ich.
